Cologne was initially invented by an Italian barber working in Cologne, Germany in the early 18th Century. It was created for men with a scent of flowers.
I am pretty sure that this product was well received by the women those men knew at the time. There’s a lot of locker rooms that could use a gallon drum of it today!
